Two Guildford College Students enjoyed the opportunity to go behind the scenes of national lifestyle magazine Top Santé.

Mitoya Surtees and Ellie Gavin, both 17, from Guildford College of Further and Higher Education in Surrey spent a day at the headquarters of Bauer Media’s health and lifestyle magazine Top Santé.

Mitoya and Ellie won the trip for their video entry to the Colleges Week ‘I’m running the show’ competition. Their winning film questioned the dominant images of beauty in the media.

During their visit to the publication Mitoya and Ellie gained an insight into all aspects of the magazine business – from researching their own articles to copy-writing and subediting.
