Farnborough College of Technology Students have won the national Colleges’ Week competition to shadow Sir Stuart Rose, Executive Chairman of Marks and Spencer.
The College’s first year business students, Chris Krzakala, Javan Tomlinson and Ashley Thomas , known as Team Essence, entered the ‘I am running the show’ The Students had to produce a 2 minute-long film and answer the question ‘What would we do if we were 'running the show' for a day?’
In order to understand the process of ‘running the show’, they contacted Andy Wynn the Centre Manager of The Meads, Farnborough’s Shopping Centre, who offered his support and experience by presenting the students with a scenario challenged on how to improving the footfall in The Meads Shopping Centre. Andy said “We have strong links with Farnborough College of Technology and were happy to work with the students on their entry for National Colleges Week. I am delighted that the students will have the chance to meet Sir Stuart Rose, it is not often that students get such an opportunity.”
